KOVA
FAQ

Questions, answered.

What is KOVA?

KOVA is a measured, on-site corporate health program for employers, a program by The Wellness Club. Every month for a year, KOVA assesses your whole workforce where they already work and reports the aggregate picture back to you. It serves employers across Canada and the United States.

Is this a wellness program?

KOVA is a corporate health program. The distinction matters: it is built around measurement of your whole workforce over a year, and around giving you evidence you can bring into a budget conversation.

Who is it for?

People and HR leaders, Operations and Finance leaders, and founders and CEOs who want a health program the whole workforce uses and that can show what changed.

How does it work for hybrid teams or multiple offices?

On-site assessment months are scheduled where your people gather. Every employee's data lives in their own platform, wherever they log in from. For organizations with several locations, we typically begin with a primary hub and expand from there. For fully remote employees, we offer a remote program: the coaching, platform, and content are delivered virtually, and any physical components are shipped to each employee, so hands-on activations are limited compared with an on-site month.

Who sees my employees' data?

Each employee sees their own. You receive aggregate, de-identified reporting only. No individual result reaches the employer. More at Trust.

What is the difference between Standard, Extended, and Executive?

Standard is the foundation: whole-workforce monthly assessment and a personal data platform for every employee. Extended adds biomarker testing and one-to-one coaching, available for everyone or by individual opt-in at any point in the year. Executive is fully customized for a leadership cohort and designed to sit alongside the care they already have.

Do I need to choose Extended for the whole workforce?

No. Extended can run for the whole workforce or by individual opt-in, at any point in the year.

Who reviews biomarker results?

Each employee receives their results individually, with a session to walk through what the markers mean and how to act on them, led by a KOVA coach. Results that fall outside typical ranges come with a clear recommendation to follow up with the employee's own physician. KOVA does not diagnose or provide medical treatment.

Does the program disrupt the workday?

It is built to run alongside it. The assessment comes to the employee, takes minutes, and they return to their desk. There are no clinic visits or off-site days.

How is it funded?

Programs are employer-funded and priced per employee per year, scaled to your workforce size, with flexible structures available where they fit your benefits strategy.

How do we start?
